"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate but that we are powerful beyond measure. As soon as we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." – Marianne Williamson

About me

I work for ZOA as the WeAreAble! consortium coordinator, promoting food security and inclusion for persons with disabilities in Central- and East Africa. I also advice ZOA on climate resilience strategies. Prior to ZOA, I worked in Brussels at the EP and EC, before moving into the faith-based NGO sector with the Catholic NGO network CIDSE and its Dutch member Cordaid. I worked on advocacy and programming in fragile contexts, from trade and food security, children’s rights, policy coherence, migration and development, to global health and ODA policies.

I have gathered over 25 years of experience in advocacy in Africa, the Netherlands and EU, and at global level. I enjoy developing and implementing advocacy strategies together with southern partners, mobilizing public, political and donor support for those most in need.
